REACHING THE UNREACHED FOR CHRIST

Hyenas in the Village:-

                  I woke up that morning with this strange dream that I was in some village, where people were very fearful, as the place was infested with Hyenas, who moved in packs and finding any solitary humans attacked them and devoured them.

                  In this dream I found that I was trying to cross from one house to another, with a big stick,needless to say 'full of fear'. I shared this dream with my wife Margaret and we prayed that the Lord would grant us His protection, as I was about to leave for Golden Meadow to preach in the church of Pastor Eno Dantin. Surely satan was trying to use Hyena tactics with us in trying to throw dirt in our eyes, so we would not find the place.

                   First of all we lost our way and found ourselves in the Assumption parish instead of Lafourche. Thus we missed the morning Sunday Service. Then as we tried to pull out of the Church, the car went off the curb. I put a 2/2 wooden block from the construction material and placed it under the rear wheel hoping the car would come back on the concrete road. Instead the spike, spun with the wheel like a bullet and hit my shin bone and broke into two, sparing the bone from breaking.

                    That evening as Bro. Williams read the scripture for me from Mark chapter 8 which was the portion for my daily reading, suddenly a warmth rose up from my ankle of the left injured leg, healing me instantly. That night the spirit of God did awesome things in the meeting. The power of God was present to heal, save and deliver. A number of people including youth dedicated their lives to God, were healed and filled with the Holy Spirit. All Glory to God.

                     Pastor Eno and Lourie Dantin have been a source of great encouragement for me, some of their youth who were challanged in my first meeting in 1988, are now in Mexico in the mission fields. The Lord Jesus wonderfully saved them from 2 bad hurricanes,'Francis and Georges'.
                     I held a few meetings at the Praise Fellowship, with Pastor Ray and experienced the powerful touch of God in the congregation. On one such occasion the Glory of God came down in a powerful way, and the Lord gave me the name of a lady, who was leaning heavily on a cane for support. As the Lord showed me that her condition was not in the leg but in the Spine, I shared this word of Knowledge with her, she was instantly healed and began to dance unto Jesus. Many others were filled with the Holy Spirit.

                       A similar thing was repeated in Lake Jackson, Texas where the Spirit of the Lord has been brooding heavily upon the congregation, where pastor Logan has been such a blessing to us. He spoke of a blessing which was going to come our way, & prophecied that the Lord wanted me to get into a fast so He could prepare me for the work ahead of us.

                        I thank God for the powerful Intercession which is rising out of our Church in New Orleans, Gideon Christian Fellowship. Right after by the mercy of God, I entered into a 14 day fast, to seek the mind of God and His will concerning our lives. This I ended in Dallas as we prayed with Bro. Victor,Gabriel and Bro. Philip. One of the things the Lord showed me in a Vision was that I heard my Pastor Willie Wooten say to me"Bro, George, we need to invest in the church( in the kingdom of God), too long have christians invested in the world". These words keep ringing in my soul night and day, what a profound truth, 'We need to invest our time, money, lives and our precious tears in the kingdom of God'.

                         Parts of that dream are too early to share, I believe. One sunday evening I did a meeting at Walker, La with Pastor Mc.Masters. The message was"The Lord restored all to Job, after he prayed for his 3 friends". The anointing of the Holy Spirit broke loose in the area of forgiveness, many experienced release, deliverance and physical healing. One night meeting with Pastor Ramirez in New Orleans, the power of the Holy Spirit was unusual.                           

                      A certain teenager, for whom no one had ever been able to pray(who possesed by a demon, would break the sheet rock to get from one room to another when under the power of satan) was slain in the Holy Spirit, and experienced the touch of God. A lot of people received words of knowledge. In another setting an elderly Catholic gentleman accepted Jesus as His saviour, who had previously never allowed any one to lead him to the Lord. His own son, who was a preacher felt his prayers were divinely answered.

                      I had a chance to encourage the Berean Christian Fellowship(branch of G.C.F). I filled the pulpit of Pastor Brian Dennison in his absence. That morning we experienced an awesome touch of God. CHICAGO, IL. On the first and the second of October, I had the privilege to preach in a meeting organised by the Pakistani Church of Chicago, Il and Bro. Edwin Jamil. In a unique way God had brought the Gujarati, Punjabi and the south Indian brethren together. Bro. Thampi and the Maranatha brothers gave much co- operation, also I had the privelege to speak at the Assemblies of God Church where Pastor George Stephenson pastors.

                          They all were very gracious to me. The Chicago meetings arranged by the Pakistani Church were powerpacked. Some people received deliverance from demonic powers, yet others were filled with the Holy Spirit. The fire of the Holy Spirit came down on the shy city, and this windy city experienced the moving of God's Spirit. I have just returned from holding meetings at the International Family Church, I feel the Lord has bonded our hearts together with saints in Texas, Louisiana and various parts of the United States.

                             It is 3.00 A.M. today on the 17th Of October'98, and in a few hours I will be on my way to Springfield, Mo, where I will be ministering in the Church of Pastor Reggie Chandra and couple of other A.G., and Independent Churches and speak at a citywide gathering of saints. Then in a citiwide gathering of the Hispanic Saints here in NOLA.

                             Meanwhile in our church here at New Orleans,, a team from Haiti is visiting, whom the Lord used in bringing down the powers of the Haitian Voodoo. I am blessed to be a part of G.C.F., New Orleans. It's an honor to experience the move of the Holy Spirit, under the able leadership of Pastor Willie Wooten and the elders. Those of you who need for me to do crusades in your Cities, need to get with Pastor Wooten at the G.C.F., N.O.La, whose phone # is 504-947- 4857.

                             I am sure Pastor will pray over the requests and release me to go to the Cities to bless other churches as well. At this point I have many invitatons, from NY., Texas, Ill, Az., La, Missouri, India, Europe, Africa, Australia and the middle east. Please pray that the Will of God be fulfilled in our lives. Pastor Lloyd Blount and team need prayers as they are about to leave for India to minister in Crusades and Pastor's Seminar in Gujarat.                         

                          Pastor Wooten is also praying about date to go to North India for Crusades and a Seminar. Please do pray for these meetings. In India Christians are going thru systematic persecution, In Jhabua(M.P) four catholic nuns were molested, In Rajkot(Gujarat), Bibles were burnt and an heathen idol placed inside a Church. The Pastor and the Congregation were beaten up. As the doors of evangelism are closing fast, I was reading a report that Indian Nationals are bringing thousands of souls to the Lord under heavy cross-fire. They are risking much to bring India to the feet of the loving saviour. The time is short.

                      I was intrigued by the fact that the land that where missionaries, saints and the messengers of the Gospel have been persecuted IS NOW opening doors for Radio and Television programs. The Ways of God are wonderful. It would cost about S10,000/- to broadcast 52 Weekly programs on Radio. This is an SOS call. I will happily do the needful if the Lord opens the financial doors. Please pray, what would the Lord have me to do?                       

               An anointed program could affect the large hindi speaking part of the populace. The program would also reach into Bangladesh, Pakistan where Urdu is spoken(the sister language of Hindi), Mauritius, Malatia and Indonesia where Hindi is spoken. Please help us. We want to thank our few but faithful partners who have prayed and stood by the work of God in India. If the Lord places a burden on your heart please do call us.
